Individual Therapy

What to expect

Individual therapy begins with a 1-hour initial intake where past and present medical and mental health information is gathered along with any other pertinent information.  Current challenges and struggles are identified and discussed in order to create a treatment plan.  The frequency of follow up sessions are also decided at this time.  The intake process may take more than 1 session to complete.  The way in which follow up sessions are conducted are specific and unique to each client's individual needs and identified challenges.

Populations I guide 

I primarily work with adults and specialize in postpartum mood disorders, depression, anxiety disorders (including OCD and panic attacks), adjustment disorders, women's issues, parenting struggles, trauma, and everyday stress.
